THE STORY

An odometer reading of a mere 101 miles reflects the dedicated care given to this 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, one of just 86 ZR1 coupes factory finished in Blade Silver for 2019. The pinnacle performer of seven generations of front-engined Corvettes, the ZR1 packs the most powerful Chevrolet engine to its time, the supercharged, dry-sump LT5. Teamed with a 7-speed manual transmission (the last in a production Corvette) with active rev matching and eLSD electronic limited-slip differential, the LT5’s increased supercharger capacity and revised throttle body endow it with 755 HP and 715 lb-ft of torque, making it capable of propelling the ZR1 to 212 MPH. While few will challenge that potential, the ZR1 nonetheless merits its world-class supercar status.

Its lightweight hydroformed aluminum frame hosts specially tuned all-independent suspension, magnetic ride control, active handling stability and traction control, electric rack-and-pinion steering, carbon ceramic disc brakes with blue calipers and Michelin tires on 19-inch front and 20-inch rear chromed aluminum wheels.

The ZR1’s body and interior make extensive use of carbon fiber, including the hood, exposed-weave intercooler cover, rear wing, fender vents, front splitter and rocker extensions and, inside, the steering wheel, high-gloss instrument panel and trim, and the heated and ventilated competition sport seats. Complementing the extensive list of standard features that includes dual-zone climate control, full power accessories, a color head-up display and a full infotainment system, the car’s optional 3ZR Premium Equipment Group adds extra leather upholstery, suede microfiber upper trim, gloss carbon fiber inlays, a carbon fiber and sueded microfiber steering wheel, carbon-fiber instrument panel, power heated outside mirrors with auto-dimming driver’s side and inside mirrors, a Bose premium audio system with surround sound, performance data recorder, rear-view and front curb-view cameras, universal home remote and remote vehicle start.
