Following in the footsteps of the Murcielago, the Aventador served as Lamborghinis flagship V-12 supercar from 2011 until 2022. The series was revised and refined with the more powerful Aventador S and Aventador SV variants, but it was the SVJstanding for Super Veloce Jotathat represented the models zenith.

For the SVJ, Lamborghini engineers tweaked the Aventadors 6.5-litre V-12 powerplant with modified cylinder heads and titanium intake valves, bumping power to 770 PS. Trick active aerodynamics and a vast rear wing contributed to an increase in downforce of 40 per cent, while rear-wheel steering ensured both sharp handling through more technical corners and improved high-speed stability. Add a crash diet that even included engine cover clips in place of hinges, and the result was the lightest, most poised, and quickest Aventador ever built. A blistering performer, the Aventador SVJ can reach 100 km/h in a hair-raising 2.8 seconds. Hold your nerve and the Lamborghini wont stop accelerating until it hits 349 km/h.
